THE LITTLE BUSTARD TRAIL runs through the villages of Villasarracino to Villaherreros, in a total distance of 16.5 km without slopes, which can also be travelled in three sections of 5, 4 or 7 km.
It is a trail that can be made at any time of the year on foot, in 3 hours and a half or by bike in 1 hour and a half.
On it we can enjoy an interesting landscape, as well as the flora and fauna of the area with special attention to ornithological species.
The trail between the towns of Villasarracino and Villaherreros, is tangent to the French Way of St. James, between the towns of Carrión de los Condes and Saldaña, both of which have notable cultural resources and should be visited by tourists - among other options, The Roman Villa of La Olmeda and the Historical Complex of La Plaza Vieja in Saldaña, the Roman Villa of Quintanilla de la Cueza, the French Way of Saint James, Carrión de los Condes, the Frómista Canal Lock, as well as the remarkable gastronomic offer of the several neighbouring towns, all of which are of a varied standard.
